18) Dean McB. is constantly trying to hop up his go-ped with things laying around the house because he just likes to experiment!. He writes "YOU KNOW HOW EVERYONE IS ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT MAN I WISH THEY MADE SUPERCHARGERS FOR PEDS. WELL WHAT I HAVE DONE IS TAKEN ONE OF THOSE ELECTRIC RC CAR ENGNINES AND PUT A LEGO PROPELLER ON THE LITTLE GEAR. THE PROPELLER IS ABOUT 1 1/2 INCH IN DIAMETER. THEN I TOOK COPPER WIRE AND RAN ONE OF THOSE BATTERIES THAT HAS THE COILS. THEN I ATTATCHED THE BATTERY TO MY DECK AND PUT THE MOTOR AND PROPELLER INSIDE OF MY K/N AIR FILTER. WHEN I RAN IT I HAD GOT ABOUT 2MPH FASTER. SO HERE'S A GREAT PRODUCT BECAUSE IT FITS IN MY AIR FILTER PERFECT AND I HAVE IT IN THE CENTER OF MY FILTER. IT'S SUPPORTED WITH STIFF WIRE"

17) This thing is a motorized bar stool for crying out loud! Check out the cup holder mounted just behind the steering handlebars. Cheers!!!!

16) Justin O. suggests we mass produce a miniskateboard with one set of wheels in the center of the board. The rider would be pulled at first holding on to a rope. Then once the rider gets going they would go on there own and try to ride and balance at the same time. Justin already created one fulcrum-board. This is a very cool idea but we think the riders should probably wear a lot of pads at first because they are definately going to "eat it" learning how to balance. Ouch!!

15) Ralph P. was cool enough to send us a pic of some guy who had installed a jet engine, that's right, a jet engine on his goped. This thing looks like it would be a blast but I, for one, would want to wear some flame proof boxers to protect the jewels...Yikes!!! http://www.jetped-boarders.co.uk

14) Trevor R. suggests that we somehow rig a scooter with hydraulics to raise and lower the scooter for shows and freestyle action. We imagine if you connect some sort of scissor hydraulics under the deck you could pull this off. Thanks Trevor for thinking out of the box and borrowing ideas from what's happening in the trick car market today!

13) Chris P. suggested that we carry a Big Foot Towped. Imagine this, a towped beefed up with the larger Big Foot Wheels, kinda like a Towped on steriods! We have already contacted the manufacturer and have this in-the-works and coming soon...great idea Chris

12) Stephen E. actually created a turbo-charged goped . Using a computer fan to blast air into the intakehe claims he has seen some measurable increase in performance. Check it out!!

11) Nicholas D. suggested some sort of FM/CD player for scooter handle bars. We think that an MP3 Player or CD player hooked to your pants would work just as well. We will be looking to carry some players very soon...ROCK ON and thanks Nic for your suggestion!

10) We found a Scooter Ski Kit for your Razor or Razor style kick scooter that looks pretty radical. You can see in the picture that your wheels even stay mounted on the scooter so you don't loose them and in fact can probably easily swap out your skis for your wheels and scoot your razor to the slopes and back again!!

9) Lisa H. suggested that we begin working on a retrofit kit for peds that enable you to convert yours to a Snow-Ped for use year-round in the cold country! Lisa also suggested a sort of Sand-Ped half-track style drive system conversion to enable use offroad and on the sandy beaches like a tank!

A Snow-Ped design is already in process. The Sand-Ped using a tread or track design is a bit more difficult to engineer but we imagine it would work on the snow as well if it could be designed  correctly just like the track on a snowmobile. The sand version  would use a beefy front wheel (big foot wheel) rather than a front ski.

Both of these are great ideas which will enable the gopedder to find more  places and times of the year to enjoy the sport. We will work on these along  with the manufacturer to hopefully bring them into reality. Thanks Lisa!

8) John S. is working on a turbocharger for the Zenoah engines. We hope to see some of his prototypes racing at the Goped Nationals! We will keep you posted

7) Kirby wrote in and suggested we build an off-road GoQuad using Big Foot wheels. We are working on this idea and should have something like this featured soon. We will of course have an optional (2) engine fully modified design driving both rear wheels for true all-terrain use!! Yikes!!!

6) Drayton has designed a fully operational dual exhaust frame system that really works. He also has designed some totally radical and stylin' custom Fatty decks. We are now featuring similar Fatty Decks as a Goped or Big Foot Accessory

5) Chris Snead had a great idea to build-your-own-ped. This is where you can select a ped customized from the frame up kinda like you do to buy a computer nowadays. This is a great idea and we hope to offer a feature on our website for you to build custom peds. If you want one built please contact us and let us know. We will build you whatever you like.

4) Kyle also wants to improve the freestyle capabilities and has designed a retro fit skid plate for your Sport or Liquimatic ped. Cole G. also suggested we get ahold of some grind plates. As soon as we get our hands on them we will offer them to you!

3) Dan Harris has a great idea for those who have heard of the x-ped and its freestyle riding capabilities .  Dan's idea is an improvement on this.  If you extend the metal's length between the deck and the front wheel and made it a little thicker for more strength.  Then add a gyro.  This is the device that alows bikers to do tailwhips with out the brake wires twisting.  In a go-ped's case it would be used to keep the brake and fuel cables from twisting. This way ped riders can do freestyle tail whips all day long.

2) Patrick Rohan has a great idea for a ground effects neon kit for your ped. Thanks to the good R&D work of Wesley and Steve, neon wire ground effects kits are now available in Red, Blue and Green!

1) Walter wanted to see a speedometer for Peds which we have here!!. This way you can see how fast you really go, how many miles you've travelled on your ped, etc. It has a total of (8) computer functions!
